Version 5.0.5, Dommes & Domestication

Dev Notes

  • I promised a weighty update this month, and here it is - around fifty thousand words of new content, oodles of new art, our biggest animated scene yet, and plenty more besides.
  • A couple of our fan translations had to be removed from our previous update at the last minute, as they were throwing critical errors. These have now been repaired - sorry for the delay. If you would like to help extend them, we always need more translators! Drop us a message on our Discord server (linked in the game’s main menu).
  • MVPs of this build are Mattrex, for a truly exceptional showing as our new lead writer; our coders Tosk and GerdGenus, for managing to get everything in on a very tight schedule; and Stuke, for their heroic efforts in playtesting.

Tweaks

  • Darja will no longer be in the palace in Act V if Malagar has been empowered, but you have killed Adeline.
  • Malagar’s introduction in Act III will make his use of the Words Of Power more explicit.
  • The protean ambience will play during fate followup scenes with them.
  • Valzira will temporarily be inaccessible after you have broken her, while we adjust her existing scenes to fit her new state.
  • The dragon will consistently use his new and more impressive climax-roar in Act V.

Fixes

  • Naho will more consistently play the right main sprite animation when overwhelmed with pleasure.
  • Naho can no longer provide military leadership in the wildlands if she has been sacrificed to a horde.
  • The palace dungeon ambience will play more consistently.
  • A very large number of subtle text/voice mismatches have been aligned. Thank you Stuke!

Why are demo and development versions sold at the same price?

They aren't. The demos are free.

All game versions are all in the same price field.

You can't even buy Ravager for PC on Itch.

You're posting an image from the patch notes, which indicates which files were updated, not which files are for sale.

@Mattrex is correct. On the main page, there are buttons labeled "Download" above all of the demos.

Question, is it possible to complete the Darja storyline at this time?

Great work! Honest question; Why is the option to 'gift' the girls to the Kobolds not a 'Share' option in which we can take the girls back (similar to the Torture Chamber option) so as to not miss any potential interactive scenes?

It feels very odd that a Dragon who's taken on consorts/'treasures', as the Kobolds make very clear, cannot take them back after some time. A way to show appreciation to the Kobolds (Morale) but also a clear sign that, as sovereign, your decision and your ownership of all still reigns supreme.

Please consider this or at the very least a warning regarding gifting to the Kobolds making it clear that such actions are permanent and the player wont get them back and will only see them in passing when checking in on the Kobolds.

Even if retrieving captives were in the spirit of the game, which it isn't, the writing overhead to achieve such a task would be immense. There are a dozen giftable captives and six hordes, making for 72 unique combinations, and if you could retrieve them, we'd need to program logic and write scenes for every return scene, plus write conditionals in other scenes for every possible circumstance in which a character might have been given to a horde and retrieved. You're looking at probably 80,000 words, minimum, to achieve that goal, which is already the length of an average novel and is more words than many games have in them from start to finish.

On top of all that, we would need to re-evaluate the game logic and narrative flow for almost every scene that involves a giftable captive throughout the entire game to make sure that scenes only happen when they're supposed to. The narrative complexity of the game is already very high and adding even more to that would ensure we weren't doing anything else for a very long time.

Ultimately, it is neither in the spirit of the game nor feasible in scope to add such a feature.

Thats unfortunate. At the very least a text warning for the gift option stating this is a permanent choice would be nice as it locks off quite a lot that you could, or would, otherwise experience if you kept them.

Still though, thank you for responding and congrats on 5.0.6!

need more births! Nice work

Amazing I just finished Naho and Mina (she is my favorite too bad about malagar not making her into a suitable queen) also I'm so happy to have another person to send to breaker (Personally have never seen a reason to send Marie-Anne ) well time to restart and reread

Maybe many people had asked this before, but I´m not them to know. There are plans to accept "Paypal" as method to pay for the game? (I have literally no other options available :,,v).

are you planning anything new with issa?

(+5)

Yes! He got a new fate scene this update, and there is plenty more Issa content planned.

(+1)(-1)

yay!!

Ikr. Maybe hopefully there's 3-4 different ways to change him to a idea perfect form (I'm choking cause of a flashgitz cartoon) Futa Lizard and keep him with us (instead of being traded off)
