Last week we were dropped by our payment processor, and we have consequently had to withdraw from selling on Itch. Since then we have been looking at options to replenish the project’s income, as well as deliver Android copies to new players that might want one.

We have agreed to focus on building our presence on SubscribeStar. The platform has some disadvantages, but it has taken a strong position against censorship of adult content, and it has been a reliable ally throughout our many tribulations. We would like as many people as possible to join us there, subject to your means and inclination.

But we are not seeking charity! The whole team has come together to create a bold new programme, with the intent to make supporting us as good for you as possible. And now, as one door closes, we’d like to announce the following new benefits for our subscribers:

A Special Welcome Gift

Anyone who subscribes to us, or increases their subscription tier, for the next four weeks (until December 14th) will get a custom thank-you note recorded for them by Nyono. A Custom Expanded Soundtrack

Our last benefit comes courtesy of Marina - the voice of the dragonsong, and our most prolific voice actress. Marina will compose and perform a new song for us every month, which will be downloadable for all subscribers. Senior subscribers can also suggest song concepts, and vote on which one is recorded each month. I am extremely excited for this.

And A Better Game, Finished Sooner

We do what we do because we want to make Ravager the best it can possibly be. Our approach has been to reinvest our income back into the game’s production - which is why a sudden shortfall like this can really sting. As our budget expands we’ll be able to acquire more professional talent, and do more with the people we already have. And that is a persistent benefit: in the not-so-distant future, when Ravager is wrapped and done, we’ll be able to dive into our next project with everything we’ve built together.
